My name is Julianna and I'm a studio artist working in oil painting, calligraphy, and engraving. With a degree in Studio Arts, my practice is rooted in traditional methods and slow, intentional creation whether at a wedding or engraving a wine or perfume bottle. I'm drawn to the quiet dialogue between hand and brush, light and line, the rhythm of letterforms, and the shimmering permanence of engraved line. Inspiration
I have loved art as long as I can remember and spending lots of moments in nature and in great company are my greatest inspirations. It’s often the unsuspected that’s part of my work. It’s those intangible moments I love to capture.
